Put on by AJAC, the Aerospace Joint Apprenticeship Committee, five employees participated in a four hour workshop today.
The goal of the workshop was to maximize the mentoring effectiveness. It provided journey workers, mid-level administration and owners with leadership skill and strategies for mentoring AJAC apprentices on the job site.
We learned
- effective communication strategies to maximize our training and apprentice learning opportunities
- to identify various learning styles and associated strategies
- to understand and implement goal setting techniques to enhance training
- and received a certificate of completion
