Being avid outdoor enthusiasts is only part of the success at SEA-LECT Designs.  We strive for innovation too.  When we entered the paddle sports equipment market in 2011, it was to develop the now patented kayak foot brace that is used by kayak manufacturers throughout North America and Europe.  That was just the beginning for us.  More products have followed every year, and we’re continuing to drive innovation true to our mission of engineering innovations for outdoor enthusiasts.

We strive to design and manufacture products for the outdoor paddle sports industry and provide simple yet effective repair solutions to common problems found with inferior products and others that don’t endure the rugged outdoors.  With our sister company SEA-DOG as a partner, we have the ability and talent to design, manufacture, and distribute our foundation products and continue to push the innovation into the future.

Our deck plates come in different shapes and sizes to match your boat and the function you need.  Vent clean-outs, inspection covers, and sealing compartments are the typical uses, but you can use your imagination on what they can be used for.  Our hatch covers have a recreational, classic, or performance option that allows you to choose the level of ruggedness required.  They are all designed and manufactured for maximum durability with engineered materials.  We offer various sizes and shapes to correspond to the many kayak offerings on the market.  Whether you need a replacement for an older kayak, or just an upgrade on a recent paddle sports equipment purchase, we have the cover you need.

When you’re fishing out of a kayak, the last thing you want to deal with is trying to steer with your paddle and still fish.  We have a patented rudder system with all the mounting hardware to make it easy to track and steer with your feet.  That keeps your hands free to reel in the big one on the end of the line.  We offer multiple variations with low to normal profiles to offer maximum adjustability for any kayak.  All components are manufactured with engineering materials and can be replaced or upgraded if needed in the future.
